Welcome, 2024!

We’ve been waiting.

Waiting on 2023 to end.

Waiting to be saved.

Waiting for the world to have empathy for the chokehold it put on families, farmers, educators, leaders, and all who contribute to daily life.

Unfortunately, we, in many cases had no choice while watching the have and have not be placed and counted.

However, many of us gave to others, despite what we saw and/or received.

My journey moving forward.

Such joy I have as I begin to challenge myself to be me, just me. I truly believe that’s all there is. Accepting those who accept me while praying for all else.

Knowing that I am the only one who can take my dreams, mold them, and then make them realities.

Knowing it’s okay to change my path on a whim, and loving my children for who they are right now.

Mostly, appreciating each moment in life, and understanding its value and fragility. I will no longer take it for granted.

To my family, SGRho Sorority sisters, and friends… I love you.

To my readers, you are my light.

Now on to living, no more just surviving!
